Mini Monkey Bread
Oh my gosh this was amazing!! Sean won’t be home until Wednesday so I have NO ONE to share this with! I think I’ll bring it to school tomorrow and share with the teachers!
I seriously outdid myself with this! It tasted like a cinnamon roll muffin! I love anything sweet sugary and a little bit cinnamoney (yeah that’s not a word but who cares?)
This was easy and I had all the ingredients on hand at home!
2 tubes of Pillsbury Flakey Biscuits
4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 ½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1-2 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla
Start by combining your brown sugar and cinnamon in a medium boll.
Make sure the two ingredients are well mixed.
Then, melt the butter and add sugar in a small bowl.
Next, roll your dinner rolls into balls. You’ll want to combine two biscuits for each ball.
Using a pizza cutter, slice each roll into four chunks.
Heavily grease the muffin cups of a standard muffin tray. I used cooking spray…
Drop your balls into the butter mixture so that they become coated. Toss them in the brown sugar and cinnamon bowl.
Once evenly coated, drop four sugar dough balls into each muffin cup.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool while making icing.
Combine icing ingredients and mix well. Drizzle over muffins.
